Why?....
The
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requires that all fire
protection systems be inspected, tested and maintained periodically
in order to ensure a reasonable degree of protection of life and
property from fire. Currently the State of California Fire Marshall
requires a "5-Year Test" to be
performed on all operational sprinkler systems by a qualified C-16
licensed Fire Sprinkler contractor. In addition, Insurance Companies
should reduce your premium rate with routine inspections.
It
is your responsibility to perform all other periodical inspections
and testing of the fire sprinkler system, Regency now offers all
our customers a simple and economic method to meet the NFPA requirement
through a "Quarterly-Year Test"
as defined in the NFPA-25. By choosing us to perform the scheduled
inspections, there are several benefits you will receive:
- Our
professional technicians will inspect the system and provide adequate
records as necessary. Since we originally installed or recently
made improvements to the fire sprinkler system, we are most familiar
with it.
- A
"Quarterly-Year Test" will
provide you with preventive maintenance instead of costly major
repairs. Most building owners find out of these repairs when a
"5-Year Test" is performed on
the sprinkler system and they realize the lack of maintenance
over a long period of time.
- Any
remodeling or change in operations on this building will require
modifications of the Sprinkler System. A "Quarterly-Year
Test" in your remodeled building will make you aware
of deficiencies which may be corrected as part of the Warranty
provided by the General Contractor for the new work performed.
- Our
"Quarterly-Year Test" is very
simple and there are no obligations and no contracts to sign.
You choose the date at your convenience. At the end of every inspection,
you will authorize the next scheduled inspection. You may cancel
at any time.
